Show Me App

I'm really impressed by the easiness of this app.  It seems like it is straight forward.  Though, the reviewer on the YouTube video, had not set up an account yet, he seemed to be able to still work in the app and even make his own presentation video.  But, it seems like you can do even more when you are a registered user.
How this app works is, you can create your own presentation or teaching page with a whiteboard screen.  This is just a white screen that you can write on, use text, add audio, and add pictures, etc...  You can also record yourself talking and writing on the screen as you go.  You can then play it back during your presentation or teaching time.  It seems like your finger makes the text and the font is your handwriting.  You open the app and can create a whiteboard that is an audio visual for a lesson and so forth.  Other features, also include a way to look up other peoples 'show me' videos and see what they have done.  You can subscribe to those creators and keep a list of the videos you like for future reference.
I went to graphite.com, again, for a more thorough overview of the app.  Which can be found at https://www.graphite.org/app/showme-interactive-whiteboard#/showme-interactive-whiteboard.  Many teachers have found this an amazing tool for their classroom.  In fact, the school I work as a TA in, uses this app on a regular basis for math, reading, writing, and science.  One con, I read several times, was about how simple of an app it is, mostly referring to how much more limited it is compared to other whiteboard apps.  Though, the ratings were very high for how engaged students were when using this app.

I personally, would enjoy this app in my future classroom.  I could even see as low and Kindergarten and First graders using this.  It's simple enough for all levels to complete a short task, even in groups. If the school I'm teaching at is a 1:1 technology school, then it would be ideal to use as a teaching tool.  A student could work out a simple math problem, record what they found, put it on iPlay for all of the class to see on the smart board and teach their peers.  I could also see it as a great way to work on spelling words, draw out their local neighborhoods for social studies, and discuss fractions for math.  The possibilities are endless.

This is defitnitly an app that will go in my app file :)
